Took my first airplane flight last week. I had to get to San Jose International Airport really early. I wasn’t really happy with that but it was an early flight and I was pretty excited. After getting to the airport I found out that my flight had been canceled.
I waited at the counter for a while and finally figured out that they were going to reschedule me on a later flight. The only problem was that the new flight was several hours later. That did give me plenty of time to look around. The airport turned out to be a pretty fascinating place.
I went to Gordon Biersch and tried to get a beer but they “carded me.” It turns out that you have to be 21 to drink beer. Being that I don’t have ID and I’m not very old, I just sat there and had some lunch.
I came across this crazy looking thing that I didn’t quite understand. If anyone knows what it is, please let me know.
Crazy Larry came along on the flight with me. He behaved himself for the most part. That is until the snack cart came along and they gave us some peanuts and a Coke.
Larry had some of the peanuts and drank the whole bottle of Coke. I was a little annoyed with him! That meant I didn’t have anything to drink. That was only a minor concern though because as soon as Larry finished the Coke he jumped off the seat and ran down the aisle disappearing somewhere toward the front of the plane. I heard some people yelling and when I found Larry he was jumping in and out of the seat pockets in the first few rows of seats. I jumped in and was able to get him out of the seat pocket but by then it was too late. The flight attendants wanted to kick him off the plane in Reno.
Not wanting to leave Larry behind I convinced the attendants that he was harmless and that I would keep an eye on him. They agreed to let us stay on the plane but only if l would keep him in his seat.
When we changed planes in Las Vegas I found out that the human I’ve been living with has a name. Her name is Rainah. I was perfectly happy to keep calling her the human but she explained to me that it’s polite to call people by their name. I’ll have to remember that from now on!
We arrived in Pittsburgh pretty late. The flight was really long but it was fun. Rainah stuck us in her bag and we were off. (She really seems to like sticking us in bags) Bitterresentful was there to pick us up!
